Shelter Rock International (SRI), LLC was formed in 2010 to provide comprehensive consulting and marketing services as well as technology solutions to the luxury market with an emphasis on the watch and jewelry sector.  Additional areas of concentration include eyewear, accessories and audio.  It is headed by Carl E. Rosen, and, along with a team of industry experts, Shelter Rock International utilizes knowledge of worldwide markets and a network of contacts to serve the client base.

Designated as a client's brand watch Historian, creating an extensive archive of the history of the company, designed and curated a museum to display the objects, assisted in the development and publication of several books on the corporate history and facilitated the development of new products inspired by historical designs.

Shelter Rock International has been the official consultant to the American Watch Guild and International Fine Jewelers Guild. Carl E. Rosen, principal, and the Director of the Guild's anti-counterfeiting initiative.

SRI served for 7 years as a Strategic Partner focusing on the worldwide luxury good sector for GoSpotCheck, a Software as a Service mobile company that enables businesses to get better insight from field based teams, in real-time.

Carl E. Rosen, has over 30 years of experience in watches, clocks and jewelry, and served as Chief Operating Officer of Bulova Corporation, based in New York and President of Bulova Swiss, S.A. headquared in Fribourg, Switzerland.  He was Chief Information Officer for Loews Corporation, Bulova's former parent company.
​
He received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tufts University. He has appeared on the History Channel’s Modern Marvels and other television shows as a watch expert.
​
He serves on advisory and corporate boards, holds a number of leadership positions in non-profit organizations and is Vice President, Career Development for the Wharton Club of New York.
